One of the biggest events in the blockchain space took place in Malta. The event originally expected about 5,000 attendees, yet was so popular that over 8,500 came to join the conversation and listen to talks by the industries top influencers, including the Prime Minister of Malta, the founder of the Bitcoin Foundation, the editor of TechCrunch, and John McAfee.
The Summit included a hackathon, industry awards, and expert panels on the most pressing issues facing the industry, including fraud and theft, regulation, effect on the finance industry, consumer experience, and the ICO process.
There was also an ICO pitch competition as well as private pitches to groups of investors and developers. The Spatium team introduced our unhackable multiservice platform and updated the community on the latest progress with each of the components of our ecosystem.
Spatium’s solution checked off all the right boxes with the attendees, answering questions about wallet security, quick and wireless use of hardware wallets, automation of the ICO process, safe decentralized exchanges, and more.
From the exhibition floor to invite-only networking on a private yacht, Spatium had discussions about a number of interesting partnerships and collaborations. Overall, the event exceeded our expectations in terms of attendance, depth of talks and exchanged knowledge, networking, and interest in Spatium.
